Houston sports reporter who had gone missing releases statement

On Monday morning, investigators found Roland's Jeep Cherokee in a parking lot near the Galleria, at 5006 Westheimer. Her phone and other belongings were found inside the car, while her purse was found at a nearby business, police said.

    Courtney Roland, a Houston sports reporter who was located last week after briefly being reported missing, released a statement Monday morning. On Twitter, Roland posted: "On Friday I was released from Houston Methodist Medical Center. After undergoing five days of extensive testing, doctors determined I suffered an adverse reaction to my prescription medication.

Investigators' concerns intensified after Roland's white Jeep was found by officers that night in a parking in the 5000 block of Westheimer Road. The department confirmed the reporter's cell phone and other personal items were inside the vehicle. Meanwhile, her purse was found at a nearby business.

    HOUSTON - The Houston sports reporter who disappeared from the Galleria area after an adverse reaction to prescription medication has been released from the hospital, according to a Twitter post Monday from her account. Courtney Roland left the hospital Friday following five days of extensive testing.

The reporter’s white Jeep was found by officers Sunday night in a parking lot at 5006 Westheimer Road, the department confirmed. Investigators said Roland’s cellphone and other personal items were found inside the vehicle.  Meanwhile, her purse was found at a nearby business.

    HOUSTON - Houston journalists, friends and family members banded together Monday morning to aid police in a search for missing Texas A&M football reporter Courtney Roland. The Houston Police Department said Roland was last seen in the Galleria around 5:40 p.m. She was alone and walking around a store inside the mall, police said.
