Shots fired

I have no idea what's going on in Lakewood but we have had shots fired two nights in a row last night over 20 shots were fired by the 8000 block of Oak Knoll and the night before last it was 12 shots fired at the end of the 8000 block of Linda Vista. I have no idea what's going on in Lakewood but we have had shots fired two nights in a row last night over 20 shots were fired by the 8000 block of Oak Knoll and the night before last it was 12 shots fired at the end of the 8000 block of Linda Vista. The problem is when you call the police they want your home address or they won't come. I went through this a couple of times and just stopped calling them because I don't want you to show up in my house to show a shooter where I live it doesn't even make sense and then why won't you show up if I won't give you my address the shots were still fired somebody could still be laying dead in an alley somewhere I'm confused.

Paper applications can be hand-delivered or sent by U.S. mail to the Office of School Choice at 4400 West 18th Street, Houston, TX 77092. Another option is to scan the paper application and e-mail it to magnet@houstonisd.org, along with the required documents.

    Parents who want their child to attend one of the district's magnet schools for the 2018-2019 school year must submit an application by Friday, Dec. 8, to be included in the first round of consideration. Any applications received after the Dec. 8 Phase I deadline will be considered only for schools where space is still available.
