Sunday Worship at 9:00 & 11:20 AM in the Sanctuary This Sunday in worship, we move onward through the Book of Acts following the events and compelling personalities of the early church in our “To be Continued…” series. This week, we'll look at Barnabas, the great and generous character of the fledgling Christian movement of the first century. We will also thank Carey Cannon for his 5 years of ministry among us. Join us as we enter the summer season with a great reminder about the contagious qualities of empathy, generosity, and grace.

Are you looking for some enriching reading for the summer? South Main's Discipleship Committee has polled our ministers and some fellow congregants to collect this terrific list of books for the upcoming vacation season. You’ll find all sorts of picks from the spiritually edifying and deeply educational to the pleasantly amusing and simply entertaining. We hope you’ll grab a few of these titles, some of which are in the church library, enjoy them this summer, and have some conversations in the upcoming months with those who have shared some of their favorite reads. https://www.smbc.org/blog/south-main-summer-2018-reading-list
