Former first lady Barbara Pierce Bush, 92, is in failing health, according to a statement released Sunday afternoon by her family. Incidents of animal abuse, cruelty around the Houston area
Montgomery County Sheriff's Office deputies arrested three suspects on Saturday allegedly involved in a cockfighting ring. Police said they discovered 12 live roosters and 18 dead roosters along with "numerous pieces of cockfighting paraphernalia" at the scene. Two of the suspects were given citations for attending the cockfighting event while another suspect fled into the woods, authorities said.
