Keep Your Dogs and Cats Safe From Holiday Hazards

Keep Your Dogs and Cats Safe From Holiday Hazards

Moreover, the seemingly harmless mints common in the holiday season cause life-threatening problems for your dog if they contain xylitol, also found in food items such as candy, gum, some peanut butters, and baked goods, and personal hygiene products, such as toothpaste and mouthwash. Symptoms occur quickly after dogs eat xylitol-containing items, Stamper says.

Good morning, my name is Lee Berry. I live in...

Good morning, my name is Lee Berry. I live in a senior citizen apartment complex at 8625 Winkler Drive, apt 2219. The complex is having work done by FEMA and they came into tenants apartments and ripped out a port of walls and installed a machine that runs 24/7. They never discussed with the tenants the purpose of the machine, how long it would be in our apartments or anything. I questioned the installation of the machine told them that it would have an affect my electric bill and was told that it would not. Since the machine has been installed my light bill has spiked to double what it normally is for first month and more three things for the second month. They are telling us that we have to pay the light bill but will not tell us if or when they will reimburse us. There are people that have moved out because their bill spiked as much as $300.00 over what it normally would be. We are senior citizens on fixed incomes and we need help. The machine is noisy so much that I cannot hear my phone ring or hear my tv unless I turn it up sky high, it also keeps my apartment unbearably warm. I have sent an email to FEMA and the Houston Apartment Association over a week and half ago but have gotten no reply from them to date. Would you guys please look into this us and see if you can help us. Lee Berry 415-235-7868 THANK YOU. Please excuse my spelling and grammar
