Midtown Midweek 5:30 PM: Dinner served Adults: Italian bruschetta chicken w/ pasta, salad, garlic bread; Kids: Spaghetti and meatballs 6:20 PM: Prayer & Bible Study This week in Midtown Midweek Bible study we listen to the prophet Haggai. His ministry took place in a single year, 520 BC — one of the most difficult in the history of Israel. The Israelites had returned home after the Exile, but home was a mess. Haggai called God’s people to tend God’s promise and to tend their faith on the most difficult of days. There is a word from Haggai for all of us who know what it is like when “the way that it is... is not the way we would have it to be."
