This man is a quick learner with the concept of a selfie, thanks to his two very photogenic dogs.

Daughter Teaches Dad How To Selfie, Doesn't Expect Him To Become Internet Sensation
There's nothing cuter than old folks learning to use technology and giving it their best shot. This just recently happened to a sheep farmer in Walcha, Australia, who was introduced to the ubiquitous selfie by his daughter, and proceeded to have way too much fun with it.

Squish, the crooked-faced puppy with a lockin...

Squish, the crooked-faced puppy with a locking jaw, was set to be euthanized at the shelter to prevent further suffering. Then, a second opinion determined Squish was the victim of intentional blunt force trauma. Veterinarians felt Squish would need extensive jaw surgeries and ongoing treatment to survive. One of those surgeries was performed by our Dr. Fred Willaims Jr. of BluePearl - San Antonio. Squish’s life, once scheduled to end due to his disability, is full now.

Dog With Crooked Mouth Was Supposed To Be Euthanized - Until His Vet Stepped In
One look at Squish's face explains the reason behind his name - but when he was picked up as a stray by animal control in April 2016 and brought to Cuyahoga County Animal Shelter, he was named Zar.

How K9s for Warriors helps turn dogs into veterans' lifelines
Founder Shari Duval has seen 'hundreds of miracles' During her time working on a casualty response team for the U.S. Navy, Chief Petty Officer Amanda Damasiewicz handled more than 55 death notifications over the course of almost six years. Dealing with death so frequently began to eat away at her.

Sullivan suddenly began making a coughing sound that had her owners very worried. Turns out, things were not as they seemed. BluePearl's Dr. Jill Sackman told the Dodo this is in line with a phenomena called operant conditioning.

Dog Pretends To Be Sick So His Dad Will Stay Home From Work
The next morning, however, as the couple prepared to head off to work, the dog began coughing again. Worried once more, Alex thought it best to stay home that day, too. And sure enough, that was probably the exact response Sullivan had been hoping for.

When a stranger asks, “Is he friendly?” what this owner hears is, “Is he a nice dog or a mean dog?” or, “Is he a good dog or a bad dog? Your dog can absolutely be a nice AND be uncomfortable meeting new people or dogs. That's why you should consider asking an alternative question.

Is He Friendly? - Instinct Dog Behavior & Training
"Is he friendly?" If you own a dog, you've been asked this question. If you own a perfectly social dog who enjoys meeting new dogs and new people, you've probably never given this question a second thought (or, you've felt a little swell of pride as you happily responded, "Yes, very!").
