But now Suzie can see well again, thanks to retinal testing and cataract surgery with artificial lens implantation performed by Dr. Clara Williams, a board-certified veterinary ophthalmologist at our Waltham, MA hospital. Her owner says Suzie is acting five years younger. And overall, this shows that even older pets can benefit from this type of surgery. Suzie is a bit more sensitive to sunlight now, but as you can see there is a solution to that problem. The hat and glasses help limit the sunlight -- plus she looks so stylish!
